Who we are
Buzzing Bees Montessori (“we”, “us”) runs enrichment classes and primary tuition at our centres in Singapore. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Parent or guardian details: name, phone number, email address.
- Child’s details: name, level, boy or girl, and the classes and centre chosen. The area you live in.
- Messages you send us by WhatsApp, phone, email or our booking form.
- Basic website usage data (for example pages visited), collected through cookies, analytics tools and advertising tools such as the Google tag, which tells us whether a visit came from our ads.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange classes.
- To register your child, manage attendance, fees and class updates.
- To understand how parents find us, so we can improve our website and advertising.
- To send news about new classes or programmes, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
Consent and children’s data
A parent or guardian provides and consents to the collection of their child’s personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; we will tell you if this affects our ability to provide classes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our classes and website (for example form, messaging and analytics services), and where the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Marketing messages
We only send marketing messages to numbers that have agreed to receive them, and we follow the Do Not Call rules.
Access, correction and questions
To ask for a copy of your data, correct it, withdraw consent or ask any question about this policy, contact our Data Protection Officer: Mr Mohamed Sabeer, on WhatsApp at +65 9241 5080 or by email at admin@buzzingbees.com.sg.
